Tree chained by drunk British officer in 1898 in pakistan now a star of attraction

This tree has been shackled for over 100 years in Pakistan .The tree was arrested by a drunk British officer who thought it was moving

A plaque nailed to the tree reveals its strange back story

The plaque reads ' I AM UNDER ARREST

'One evening a British officer, heavily drunk, thought that I was moving from my original location and ordered mess sergeant to arrest me.since then I am under arrest.

The tree has not been released & remain at the Khyber rifles officer mess at Landing kotol way  and now used as star attraction.
