Fan writes open letter to Olamide for not voicing out to support 2face protest against the Federal Government

An Instagram user, named Make-up way11 has written an open letter to Olamide for not voicing out to support 2face idibia on his protest against  Federal Government come  5th of February.

Make-way11 wrote

"I know you will never support 2face protest on feb 5. Because you have collect money from buhari and corrupt politicians. You are part of Nigerian problems.

You are part of people that put Nigerians in this A.p.c change mess. Why can’t you copy the likes of fela kuti, Ebenezer obey. E.t.c that use their music to fight for Nigerians. All you know is to collect money from corrupt politicians and campaign for them.

You don’t care if your fans are suffering. You need to leave all this your greedy attitude and start doing what will make people remember you after your death". Thanks

Fast worker arrested for putting her menstural blood and saliva on a cheeseburger before serving it to the customer

 Sky Juliett Samue, An 18-year-old girl is facing five years in jail after she allegedly spreading her own menstrual blood on a cheeseburger before serving it to a  customer at the fast food restaurant where she worked.

The incident occurred on January 7 at a Jack’s Family Restaurant in the town of Columbus. After a heated exchange where insults were exchanged with a female customer, Sky allegedly spread her menstural blood on the burger, before handing it over at the drive-thru window around 10 pm.


A co-worker of Samuel’s later told her mother, Tabatha Hollins, who posted about the incident on her Facebook page, writing: "If u went to Jack's between 10:00pm and 10:30pm on 1/7/2017 and u order the big jack with a sprite, u got more then ketchup!"

The customer saw the Facebook post and alerted Columbus police. An arrest warrant was issued and Samuel turned herself. She was arrested on felony charges of selling unwholesome bread or drink and later released on $5,000 bond. If convicted she could be sentenced to five years in prison.

Nigerian author ,Buchi Emecheta has died

Nigerian author, writer and Novelist, Florence Onyebuchi “Buchi” Emecheta has died. 

She died on Wednesday,January 25,2017 in London England at age 72

Late Emecheta is a best selling author of many books including, “The Joys of Motherhood”, Second-Class Citizen, The Bride Price, The Slave Girl and many more.

Confirming her death, 'the current president of Association of Nigerian Authors, ANA, Denja Abdullahi said the death was a big loss to the Nigerian literary world and that she would forever be remembered for championing the agenda of female gender through her works.  She said

“We have lost a rare gem in this field. Her works would forever live to speak for her. It is a sad loss to our circle and we pray that God would give the family the fortitude to bear the loss. She was known for championing the female gender and we would forever miss her,” he said.  Buchi is currently trending on social media with tributes pouring in from her fans and well wishers.

An Instagram user, Chygoz shared the photo of a 10 year old boy named Olalekan doing what he knows how to do best – cutting the hair of customers. According to Chygoz, Olalekan charges 1000 naira per barbing and is regarded to be the most sought after in the saloon where he works.

Chygoz wrote:

“Meet Olalekan, the wonder kid barber responsible for my cut. He’s 10 years old, in JSS1 and he earns at least 5,000 naira daily from barbing….. Parents please stop training your children like toys. Those little kids you see at home have more in them than you can imagine… Help their future, give them a chance.”

In a new interview with Rolling Stone magazine, Paris Jackson said that her late father Micheal Jackson was murdered.
 she believes Dr. Conrad Murray, who was convicted of manslaughter  in 2009, actually murdered him after providing him with a drug he became dependent on.   She said
